Where on Earth am I going.... Dan Gurney at his first Formula 1 race - 1959 French GP, held at Reims on July 5. Gurney qualified 12th and retired on lap 19, with broken radiator. It was tough and punishing race with many drivers suffering with cuts and bruises from flying stones and debries.

1961 French GP, Reims - Giancarlo Baghetti, Ferrari 156, #50 - winner, Dan Gurney, Porsche 718, #12 - second. Autographed by both drivers. This is one of the greatest duels and closest finishes, where only 0.1 sec separated drivers. By winning the race, Giancarlo Baghetti became only the third driver to win his first World Championship race. This was Baghetti's only World Championship race win.

By winning the race, Giancarlo Baghetti became only the third driver to win his first World Championship race. This was Baghetti's only World Championship race win.

The first lap of the 1966 British GP at Brands Hatch on July 16 - autographed by winner from pole position Jack Brabham and Dan Gurney (Eagle-Climax), who started third, but retired on lap 9 with broken engine. Jack Brabham and Graham Hill duelled at the start, until rain storms arrived on the circuit. Whilst Brabham maintained his lead, Jochen Rindt who had changed to rain tyres was catching him rapidly, whilst John Surtees in the Cooper was in 3rd, well clear of the rest of the field

Behind him is seen Ferrari of Lorenzo Bandini, whose race ended in horror when he clipped the chicane and crashed upside down in flames amongst the straw bales. Bandini died a few days later from burns. Gurney started 7th, but retired on lap 4 with broken fuel pump.

1968 German Grand Prix, held at the Nürburgring on August 4, 1968 - autographed by Dan Gurney, driving his Eagle Weslake Mk1. The race was held in extremely wet and foggy conditions. Gurney qualified 10th and finished 9th. This is a race where Dan Gurney wore a full race helmet, making him the first driver to do so in Grand Prix racing.

1968 US GP at the Watkins Glen - autographed by Dan Gurney, American racing driver, race car constructor, and team owner, here driving McLaren M7A, car #14. This was the maiden Grand Prix of Mario Andretti, who qualified on pole, beating Stewart's time by 0.07 seconds. Well, Andretti retired on lap 32 with broken clutch, and Jackie Stewart went on to win the race, followed by Graham Hill down 24 sec and Honda of John Surtees down one lap. Dan Gurney finished 4th, also down one lap. Jackie Stewart drove his Matra-Ford to his first American Grand Prix victory and kept alive hopes for his first World Drivers' Championship with just one more race to go.
