Picnic near Dannemora NY. My mother Luella North (Kemble) told me that she was the child at left center, the child at right her brother Tom. The lady second from left was said to be the children's mother Luella B. Robinson North. She looks older than her age, although she would have been in her mid forties, and perhaps had yet to bear her third child. Mom identified the others as servants; the man at right was the chauffeur. That was the way they lived in Dannemora.

Pavel Kempel, our Russian rapper cousin. Family Tree DNA reports a 37 marker match with Grover Kemble's Y chromosome DNA (genetic distance 2). This means a probable common paternal ancestor about 8 generations back. Pavel tells SLK that his paternal ancestor migrated from Ittlingen, Germany to the Volga in Russia in 1761.
