Mr Pearl Fryar's Topiary Garden

This unusual, original garden has been a long standing project that has been recognized and assumed by the Nature Conservancy to keep the garden in perpetuity. Seattle Center

We visited Seattle and our hotel was across the street from Seattle Center. Looking out the window we saw the Space Needle, the Experience Music Project and Science Fiction Museum and Hall of Fame. We walked over and started taking photographs of these odd looking rooftops made of what looked like anodized aluminum. A photographer's dream. I have played with some of the images in color and saturation and had a great deal of fun with this project.

Portland Chinese Garden, Portland, Oregon

In the heart of Portland, Oregon is an exact replica of a scholar's garden from Suchow, China. Materials and Chinese artisans were brought over from China to recreate this calming and lovely environment. It is one of the newer gardens in Portland.

Chihuly Revisited

Visiting the Chihuly exhibit at the deYoung Museum in San Francisco was a treat. It became much more interesting when I worked with the images by using multi exposures, and saturation and rotated some of the images. I hope you enjoy the fantasy. Elizabethan Gardens, Roanoke Island, Outer Banks, NC

This lovely garden is on the site of the first English Colony in the New World and contains ancient garden statuary and ornaments. It is adjacent to the Lost Colony Theatre and Fort Raleigh. The garden was created in 1951 by The Garden Clubs of North Carolina, Inc.

Daniel Stowe Garden is fairly new and has been developing over the years. Numerous fountains, topiary and changing annuals keep the garden fresh and interesting.
