NOTE: EdSets strongly recommends that you use a TAB MOUNT BOOM MIC on this helmet. If you can flush mount a mic into the chinbar, you can use the surface mount mic, but ONLY if it is flush mounted so that it does not protrude from the chinbar inner lining's surface. The Symax II presents a bit of a challenge to our 3G mount also since the chinbar is so low on the side of the helmet. This customer mounted the 3G module in an aft position, which is perfectly ok, but probably 3 inches aft of where it would normally go.
NOTE: EdSets strongly recommends use of our TAB MOUNT BOOM MIC on this helmet unless you can flush mount our surface mic so that it does not protrude from the inner chinbar surface.
