Campus Ministry Mission Trip to Nashville
This was an urban ministry experience organized through CSM (Center for Student Missions) where students partnered with several churches and non-profit organizations in the Nashville area to serve economically, physically, mentally, and spiritually poor people in the city. The group was housed in a local church, ate at several local ethnic restaurants, and learned about the serious issues and problems facing the city. Each day, students were plugged in with various "indigenous" ministry sites and became part of the solutions for the city. For fun, the group ate out at the Hard Rock Cafe, went to a folk-rock/indie concert of an up-and-coming local band, and made a several visits to a local coffee shop.
