"Amazing I always knew that is how she keeps her figure "
Eric Jahn
"Michael, I will pretend I didn't hear the "I also do not think you have actually worked in the prepress or printing industry". I just wonder how have I been working for 20 years. And had so many happy customers... But of course, you need to sell your software... and how can you do it to people who are happy with what Adobe offers them as solutions!?"
Stephan Yankov
"Hi Stephan - thanks for you comment. "Hardly Anybody" ? I am not sure I can agree ! We sell a lot of software to a lot of "hardly anybody's" then ! I also do not think you have actually worked in the prepress or printing industry. You are correct - no one who has any sense uses US Sheetfed Coated. - they use GRACoL2006_Coated1v2.icc profile - found here: http://www.gracol.com/"
Michael Jahn
"First of all, on screen there is very small difference between the two, even though very different methods are used. Second, today hardly anybody uses anything than an ICC based RGB to CMYK conversion, like US Sheetfed Coated. Or if someone uses the traditional method, supported by older PhotoShops, they will stick to Medium GCR. Of course, theoretically many problems could occur, in practice less than 1% will be visible, and only by someone who knows what to expect there in the first place."
Stephan Yankov
"I share this with anyone who thinks "CMYK is CMYK" - no, actually, it is not. If you have ever had a single page with images that use different levels of GCR, you would quickly discover you are incapable of maintaining grey balance on all images."
