"Thanks, I'm glad you like it. Did you check out my Heinlein models? I made a portal page that makes them easier to view: http://ourworlds.topcities.com/models/heinlein_models.html"

"Lovely stuff . . . Came here by a roundabout route that involved comparing Rufo's backpack to The Doctors Tardis (bigger on the inside). RAH is my all time favourite author, I've been reading and rereading his books for more than 40 years. You have done a nice job of this . . ."

"Wayne, visit my model website (http://ourworlds.topcities.com/models/) and you will find a way to contact me."

"Hi Dan, hope you can get this comment as not sure how to get in touch with you using this site. Had to say I loved your Thunderchild Vs Warmachine diorama and wondered if you might consider building a similar one on commision? I am in the UK but would love to hear back from you if this is at all possible either now or in the future. Many thanks in advance. Wayne."

"It does not have to be just like my drawings. The point is that you perfectly captured the spirit, look and feel of my drawings. I did spot the Pilgrim Observer and Lindberg parts, they fit right in. As a matter of fact the tank assembly is much better than the drawings, I'll probably incorporate that in any hypothetical future illustrations."

"It's not exactly like your drawings. I had to change a few things since I was using the Pilgrim Observer and the Lindberg moon lander kits for parts. I figure it's an earlier model from the same ship yard."
Dan Thompson
"Thanks. I'm glad you like it. I could not resist combining my models of the system ship and warp ship to recreate your original cover."
Dan Thompson
"That must have been a royal pain to make. But looks perfect to me!"

"I agree that some sort of magnetic levitation is involved, but the towers and rings seem very far apart to act as a rail gun. Still, Heinlein left all the technical details vague enough that it could be possible."
Dan Thompson
"I believe they're supposed to be (at least partly) magnetic levitation - basically a rather long, stretched out rail gun. The rocked doesn't seem like a bad thing to include for emergency power though."

"Thanks, Phil. I enjoyed the Nats. It was my first time there in many years."
Dan Thompson
"Great job on this. Also, loved seeing your stuff in person at the Nats."

"They are from a miniatures game that is now out of production, but copies are nearly always available on eBay. I was impressed with the quality of the plastic game figures."
