IV fun in Hospital. I woke up on Tuesday with familiar symptoms, hyper-sensitivity, weakness, dehydration and low blood pressure. I knew I needed anti-biotics, and did not want to wait for them to start to affect, so I sent myself to Hospital and was walking around again in half a day as opposed to 2.
Buying tickets for the train to Delhi. We knew we were in the right queue, but unsure which group we belonged to. Freedom Fighters? MLAs?
Rajasthan, Jaipur Palace. The Maharaja drank only Holy Ganges river water. So on a trip to Engliand over a century ago, two massive silver vessels werre made to allow him to continue this neccessity abroad. I would not recommend drinking from the Ganges today.

Safety first when painting walls, Dad take note.
Like I said before, Cricket is everywhere. I knew I had ZERO chance against these kids down a side alley off the main market in Old Delhi. Great to play in the streets, terrible to sit through over three days.
India Gate, New Delhi
Monument to the Salt Protests
Cooling off in New Delhi. This scene reminded by of Esfahan. It was an elevated pool in fron of the Grand Mosque there. This one is by New Delhi Gate.
India's first “War of Indepence”. In other words, the India Mutiny. I found it telling about the insecurities of the nation that it had to attach such a name to the event. There were massive celebratiosn when we were leaving as a number of anniversaries were coinciding, incluing India's actual 60th anniversayr of Indepenece. I felt the same way about the complete lack of ciriticism and reference to the substantial amount of negative events Indira Gandhi was responsible for in a Museum supposedly about her life.
At the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial, New Delhi. I lost count of the number of languages it was written in.
Dual Anton Kalashnikov 47s at the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial. Shoes were not allowed as they would disrupt the tranquility. The sound of Toy machine guns presumably does not.
My New friends. Ultra Nationalist Youth Group at the Gandhi Memorial. Some had walked to Delhi as a large army, commemorating the events of 150 years ago.
A trainee Orayer Leader in New Delhi. He and his friend walked away thinking I was from Arabia. I had said hello in Arabic. I had forgotten that outside of Arabic speaking countries, most prayer leaders learn off the entirety of the Koran by rote, without understanding Arabic. He seemed happy, so I did not press my true heritage.
