Blossom Preschool

A community based preschool in a poor Buddhist suburb of Yangon. Blossom takes children for nominal or no fees & provides education used a combination of paid staff and volunteer-parents.

Bible College

The college has approx 50 students, mostly from ethnic minorities & remote regions. Students pay little or nominal fees & study for 3/4 years, often returning to their villages or other remote areas to engage in full-time ministry.

Myanmar - Scenes & People

Myanmar is a predominantly Buddhist country made up of many different ethnic groups and languages. Scenes, culture & climate vary greatly from region to region. People are generally friendly and have had little contact with foreigners.

Cyclone Relief 2008

Cyclone Nargis swept through the Delta region of Myanmar, devastating food crops, killing livestock and approximately 200,000 people. HMP staff used funds to deliver aid by foot, boat and bus to remote villages and to help clean, bury and burn bodies.

Mindon Boarding House

HMP runs this boarding house to allow children from even more remote regions to stay in the boarding house with food, school supplies and uniforms provided to attend the local school.

Tree of Life Trip
