Davis Bigelow at Summit Lake - still with about 1metre or more (3 or 4 feet) of ice and snow on top, but about 26 degrees Celsius (79F) in the air above. It was so hot that I stopped to fill my hat with some snow to stay cool enough.

Greg's wife taking a nap beside the trail. She didn't want to hike in the snow, so she waited for Greg and I to tramp the last 25 minutes to Summit Lake and then back again. She was quite comfortable!
