BouncyThingNotForNick — Nick "Just Sez No" to fun. And maybe to romance as well, judging from the background? ;-)
CryingHead — Water actually runs out of the statue's eyes all day.
OutdoorGarden
HunterIsDissedByNick — Hunter tried to use the Opening for Friendly Handshake, but Nick's having no part of it!
AprilSpiral — This cool spiral rotated in the breeze.

HoldingKneelingProtecting — This piece probably provoked the most discussion in our group -- some found it disturbing, others cool -- meaning it was certainly successful as art!

HappyHunterHorsey — This four hilarious horses were in front of the next building. Hunter really, really liked them. The other guys have some awesome pictures of us all playing around on the horses.
DownByTheKoiPond
KidFeedingKoi — The piece in the background is called, "Floating Sculpture."
KoiShot — The Koi were huge (dekai da yo).
MermaidFromBelow
SpiritOfNohPlay — Tucked away under the trees near the Koi pond. Fortunately, by now I had figured out how to push exposure on my camera!

HardPoseToHold — I was blown away thinking of the model having to hold this pose for long periods of time.
MoreOutdoorSculptureGarden — This is the big outdoor area with a lot of the cool sculptures.
MirrorBall1 — This mirror ball is hanging suspended from four wries over one of the sidewalk intersections.
MirrorBall2
MirrorBall3 — Self-portrait!
CorrodedSphere — This was kind of fun, but unfortunately I didn't get a picture of the even cooler corrosion-based sculpture behind me. I think Ben got some though...
RotatingPipes — These pipes were motorized to rotate in unison, and thus line up in all sorts of cool patterns.
MaleAndFemale1 — I really liked this sculpture made up of linked male and female figures in a complicated pattern.
MaleAndFemale2
MaleAndFemale3
OpticalIllusionPath — That's not a ramp! Coming straight down the path the illusion is even better. Hunter has a photo of me stepping "onto" the second part of the path.

ClimbThroughMaze1 — They had a lot of cool things for kids to do at the museum, including this awesome climnb-through maze. Also, although I didn't get a photo of it, they had a really fun play structure made out of netting that kids could play on.

InTheHandOfGod — Great pose on this sculpture!
InTheHandOfGod2
GardenOfStars — Surprisingly, this maze was kind of tricky to find the exit from once you were inside. It's regular, but the corners are all built so that you can't tell whether the corridor continues or not.

ANonPicassoSculpture — The museum uses this piece lot of their literature.
SymphonicSculptureTower2 — OK, so the best thing at the museum was this tower called, "Symphonic Sculpture." The title actully makes no sense, there's no sound associated with this piece.
SymphonicSculptureTower3 — In fact, from the outside you might be forgiven for thinking it's no big deal. Hunter didn't even want to bother to climb the tower at first.
SymphonicSculptureTower4 — But when you step inside... Oh.
SymphonicSculptureTower5
SymphonicTowerGroup — Da boys is looking up.
SymphonicSculptureTower7
SymphonicSculptureTower8 — There are two intertwined spiral staircases, and even though there are no signs, they're very cleverly designed so that everyone ends up naturally going up one and coming down the other. Good UI!
SymphonicSculptureTower9
SymphonicTowerHunter
SymphonicTowerHunter2 — Hunter makes with the Asian-girl sign.
SymphonicTowerBen — Ben grabs a shot of the surrounding Hakone hills.

JasonInDaFootBath — They had a really nice foot bath near the exit from the tower. You take off your shoes & socks and soak your feet in the nice warm water lined with rounded pebbles. It was great! I even got a cool souvenier towel for only Y100!
LoversPavillion
LeGrandeProphete1 — This was just outside the Picasso Pavillion. Really cool sculpture (and fortunately, I had the camera-exposure trick down so it's not just compeltely backlit!).
LeGrandeProphete2 — Lots of good angles on this one. The Picasso Pavillon was also nice, but no photography was allowed. They had a substantial collection of Picassos.
ManWithAHeart1
ManWithAHeart2 — Ben was fascinated by this sculpture; as the rest of us head up the escalator out of the museum, he lingered.

CIMG2428.JPG — At the very exit, they had a whole rabbit warren of chalkboards and lots of chalk. The museum was great about giving you things to actually do, as opposed to just look at.
