Final Jr track session begins with a lesson from Rob
BIG crowd... 19 kids!
Coach Andrew talks with the 1st & 2nd time group, while the experienced riders warm up
Getting ready for the first pursuit event
The good guys...
...being chased by the bad guys! (Just kidding!)
2020 World Track Champion
Glen, at the front, giving a real-time lesson
Shadow racing
Cone drills!
RIders going up, riders going down. Note “downed” cone at top of track.
Now you see the cone (blocking Kevin's progress)...
And where is that cone now? Hint- check out Kevin's rear wheel.
Perfect technique, looking ahead to visualize where you want to go. Kids get things so much easier than adults sometimes.
Jack looks like he's taking the cone drills very seriously! Maybe he saw the cone that attacked Kevin.
The 3-up whistle drill, with specific locations for each rider.
First of the 200 meter runs
Not likely an expression you'd use in mixed company. But a good one to wear after a strong 200 meter ride.
Check out the left arm & leg. Who'd have thought you could practice Yoga during a track sprint?
Chillin' between heats

Towards the beginning of one of the final points races
A fractured group makes it possible to take a flyer off the front. But will it work with so many laps to go?
A lap later, and the gap has increased, and the escapee gets encouragement from coach Andrew.
Another lap later, still out in front. Just one lap to go.
The gamble pays off...
...but it got close in the end, with the field coming in just 4 seconds behind.
Pretty happy how that effort turned out.
Another group, another sprint, with Glen looking on
Getting final instructions for the “Italian Pursuit.”
The bad guys...
... and the good guys. Unfortunately, it's the bad guys who are pretty darned good. but the good guys put in a great effort, holding them off to the last lap.
Leadout man for the good guys!
A few shots of some of the good guys...
Closeup of Mr. Intimidation himself, the good guy's leadout man, along with coach Glen.
