Little Raven Trail work 2007

Together we completed 56' of new bog bridge (one 8' bridge, one 16' bridge, one 12' bridge, and the initial 20' of a 60' bridge). We prepared and placed all the materials (including stripping and notching 20 sills) for the bridges. Special thanks are due to Frank Lilley for his help preparing the sills. We completed the layout, cleared the corridor, and began the construction of the remaining spans of the 60' bridge. Finally, we armored five stream crossings or wet trail sections.

Together we completed 108' of new bog bridges (one 12' bridge, one 44' bridge, and the completion of a 52' bridge). Together with the work from the July 14 project, BMA finished 5 new bridges (a total of 144') this year. Yesterday we also completed a major new trail through a very challenging rock garden. Finally, we continued armoring and improving stream crossings and wet trail sections.
