Corbett Creek - Day 6

Day 6 we went down Corbett Creek, my favorite of the trip. Lots of side waterfalls, cool red slot sections, and super scary traverses to some of the anchors. Really good canyon, one of my new favorites!

A Week in the San Juans - Day 4

Day 4 I hiked up to Ice Lakes Basin. The weather was amazing, the turquoise water of the lower lake was even more amazing! This was my favorite spot of the trip, such a great spot. After the hike I drove into Ouray and walked into the "famous" box canyon to get a preview of how good colorado canyons can be. Too bad this thing is on private property and there's no canyoneering allowed through it. :(

A Week in the San Juans - Day 3

Some pictures of Molas Lake covered in fog in the morning, then I hiked the Highland Mary Lakes loop, crossing over the Continential Divide. After that I stopped in Silverton and caught a huge rainbow covering the city.

Pictures from my backpack along the Grave Lake Loop in the Wind River Mountains. I went via Dad's Lake to Pyramid Lake the East Fork Valley then up to Hailey Pass, around to Grave Lake then Washaki with a side trip to Valentine, up over Washaki Pass and back to the trailhead.
