Tabtim fish raised in the Chi River, Yasothon
The woman on the left raised these Tabtim - she's been forced to sell them at the Yasothon market because her buyer didn't come through on her contract. Despite high investment costs, she can't sell above the fixed 90 B per kilo price. She said she doesn't think she'll make any income at today's market.
CP eggs middlewoman - mostly sells to district and sub-district small-scale vendors.
Though she said she doesn't make much money, she said she's been able to send her children to study abroad in the UK and France.

Fermented CP fish - this was a first!
Sun-dried CP fish - another first!
CP fish distributor and vendor - developed both the fermented fish and sundried fish products. I'm assuming that because she is a distributor, she is able to sell at 80 B per kilo.

By selling the fish they raise, these farmers are able to get a better piece of the market.
Chicken vendor - butchers chickens from both CP and Betagro. Earns 2 B per kilo, and sells about 1.5 to 2 tons of chicken meat per day - that means about 3000 to 4000 B per day.
I asked her if she ever gets sick from working with raw chicken everyday, but she said no, and that her health is good, she goes to the aerobic dance class every evening.

dead Tilapia - they require good water circulation and didn't survive the trip to the market, at almost every CP fish vendor's booth there was dead Tilapia and Taptim
CP Tabtim and Tilapia - 90 B per kilo for Tabtim, 80 B per kilo for Tilapia. The vendor (who is not a farmer) said, "you can't survive raising these fish."
Another CP fish vendor - and more dead Tilapia and Taptim. This vendor sold all three CP fish breeds as well as some fish from the nearby Mun River. The Tilapia was sold at 75 B per kilo, instead of the usual 80 B.
A cooler of CP chicken - the vendor has them delivered directly to her stall every day around 1 AM.
