Jane and Faith figured out how to share the activity chat even before I taught it in class. So I let them teach how they did it. They're amazing!
It really validates what we're saying that kids can figure out things on their own.
They had no problems with sharing activities. Our biggest problem was flaky mesh and wifi connection. Half of the room can connect while others could only do so in mesh if that.
We blew through 2nd day and most of my 3rd day materials.
Teacher Lita was the one who was so nervous in the beginning because she hasn't touched technology that much. She's our most eager student. Most of teachers decided to just skip breaks as they want to continue learning.
Mr. Samonte is our fastest student! I'm so worried that I'm boring him, but he perked up when I showed Etoys. I get to teach Etoys on the third day. Woot!

This is Marcky's drink cup- turned tip jar. He was doing such a stellar job we were actually seriously thinking of tipping, but thought better of it. We had to check child-labor laws first.

The moms are so engaged in learning as well. They actually had fun making their own "sea world" using Etoys.
Honestly, I spent very little time with Paint as some have discovered the paint object in Etoys and found it much easier so I taught Etoys Paint Object instead.
Uh-oh...we lost one.

Yes it was cafeteria food for us for 5 days. Luckily it was good cafeteria food. :-)
