The view from my cabin
A rain watrefall: stream overflow onto grass
A mirror pond
The hangy frond moss that is everywhere here, and behind it, some of the resort
More lovely hangy moss
The stream, and behind it, the home head cabin
The dead leaves from last fall rotting in a pond of cold water, and falling onto them, the shadow of branches with the very first buds of spring.
There are three monochromatic colors here that like to cluster - grey (sky and lake and clouds), green (moss and trees),and musty brown (all along the edges of the lake). This is musty brown.
Our mascot, Abbie the half-blind aussie. She makes me miss my dogs. But she has to sleep on the porch. and Nix would howl and bark if we made her do such a thing. Cricket would bound away and be gone. Sasha would feel bad. But at least there is a dog to talk to.
