Interior of Nind-Lacy Memorial Chapel. Hanging on the front wall over the stained glass is the "blue-sky white-sun red-earth" national flag and the "blue-sky white-sun" Nationalist Party flag, flanking a portrait of Sun Yat-Sen. Later taken over and became gymnasium of the Fuzhou Middle School.

Seldom seen Chinese armored vehicle. The 200th Mechanized Division was destroyed by the Japanese in the battle of Nanking and after this defeat Chiang Kai Shek had never used his tanks until the Americans organized the new Chinese units in the last period of World War II.

Identified with a hint from a reader Zhang (thanks), as the Jingri Lou temple ("high-rise close to the sun"). Also known as the Lizheng Door, this symbol of pride was in the north-south axis line of old Kunming city at the southern gateway of Kunming, the same as Jinma Biji Square. In the 1950s, the “Jinri Building” was removed.
