Hyla savignyi (male) This tree frog inhabits wet natural habitats and urban lands in Arid zone of Araks basin.
Rana macrocnemis (female) This brown frog inhabits humid sites near springs, rivers and small ponds. It is absent in arid lowlands with extremely hot climate. R. macrocnemis a first spawning amphibian species in our country. Matting of this frog takes place from late February to early May, depending on altitudes and climate.
