Ballet

These pictures were taken at the open day of the Royal Ballet School of Antwerp. I was asked to make pictures of all the classes, and these are the picks. It was my first shoot I ever did, and the most important thing that I learned is that speed does matter when you want to make a good shot. All pictures were taken with an anlogue Olympus OM-1 (I know, I'm oldschool...)

Italy

In my second year of high school, I went to Italy. We visited Firenze, Pisa, Rome, Sienna, Ravenna, Assise and of course Venice. It was the best vacation I've ever had. It was a great oppertunity to make pictures, and I make so friends for life there.

In my first year of high school, I went to London, Oxford and Hevercastle. Tate Modern became one of my favorite musea. I had never seen such a tight and well coloured building. Oxford was the example the university life. I loved the pride and beauty every university had.

Muze

These are some pictures of my favorite jazz club in Antwerp. Almost everyday you can enjoy a good jam or concert. The atmosphere is great and you meet a lot of interesting people there. Photography student like to go there to make some pictures, as I did.

Light

I took this picture for my second portfolio. I always loved light and the dependence of the atmosphere. I like to work a lot with lights, espcially colored ones. Colors and light create an atmophere but they don't ask any attention. That's why I used it for my portfolio: it gives my portfolio color and design, but the attention goes to the work that is featured in it.
