Rose Manor's residents enjoyed the Pacific Animal Therapy Soceity's Annual Tea In The Park held at Centennial Park in Saanichton. The interaction with the pets, along with the tea and goodies made for a most delightful time!

Afternoon Tea at Government House 2008

On Wednesday, December 10, 2008, His Honour the Honourable Steven Point, Lieutanant Governor of British Columbia, hosted a Tea at Government for those living at local seniors' residences. The residents of Rose Manor were thrilled to have been invited and enjoyed the tea prepared by the Chef of Government House and the performance of the secondary school choir!

Ballroom Dancing Exhibition

Thursday, November 8, 2007 the Victoria Ballroom Dance Society performed for the residents of Rose Manor. Dances performed included the Fox Trot, Charleston, Quick Step, Vienesse Waltz, West Coast Swing, Cha-Cha and the Rhumba.

Bazaar & Craft Fair

On Friday, November 2, 2007 Rose Manor held its First Annual Bazaar & Craft Fair. The fair featured crafts, knitted articles, baked goods and books among other items. All proceeds from the fair were donated to the Stephen Lewis Foundation- 'Grandmothers to Grandmothers' project.
