"Finally got a chance to work on the fork again... blades are cut to length and brazed in place. Tough brazing work since I needed to be careful where I put the heat: the heat required to get the bronze to flow on the 3/16" plate would have been enough to melt the 0.9mm fork blades.

The square of steel in the middle is where I'll drill the hole for mounting the brakes. I needed something flat for the nut on the brakes to rest against."

"Well, +David Andersen, I tried building 100 tiny forks out of toothpicks with 100 tiny wheels and running them in parallel, but it didn't work out..."

"Very minor progress, but this one gives you a better idea of what it will look like (I'll round off the corners, but this is basically it.. with another blade, of course)"
Frank Dabek
"Nice! Pictures?"

"hence the thumbs down. This was just practice: the new bike is only a fork and brake bridge away from being done."
Frank Dabek
"Hah! I was hoping you'd found some tiny telephoto adapter. I was just thinking how I'd want something like that today. Oh well."
Gabriel Taubman
"I held it in front of one of those free binocular things on the west side!"
Frank Dabek
"Mmmm tasty!"
Alex Yip
"What did you use to do telephoto on Android?"
Gabriel Taubman
