Galapagos 9-09
The Galapagos album is joint effort by several photographers. My SLR flooded on the check out dive, so I to rigged my panasonic fx07 point and shoot with strobes. Most of the underwater photos posted here were taken with that set up. However, photo opportunities were limited. Many of my new dive buddy photographers came to the rescue by lending me cameras and sharing their photos. Leslie Thomasson graciously lent me her Canon before I got the panasonic set up. Peter Freire, our divemaster, shared many of his photos with me as did Jason Buchheim, Jon Buchheim, Andy Diggins and Tricia Orr. Tricia also let me use her Canon Xsi with my 100-400 lens to do land photography. The land photos of sea lions and birds were the combined effort of Tricia and me using her camera and my lens. I tried to acknowledge everyone's contributions in the album, and I am very grateful to my new friends for their wonderful comraderie! Thanks to all.
