Take old deck off. Looks better already.
Build onto existing gable
Nice Roof on sticks
Dig a foundation trench
Fill with rock/gravel
Insulate between inside and outside rubble trench foundation
Infill between post with earthbags
Earthbags go higher
...and higher. Start outside urbanite wall.
Insulate between urbanite wall and earthbag wall with recycled poly-styrene
Urbanite wall looks pretty good.
Build framework for sawdust/clay infill
Fill with sawdust/clay slip
Re-enforce sawdust/clay slip infill with horizontal and vertical members.
Add electrical outlets as you go.
Add some recycled windows.
Add a nice French door
Insulate the ceiling
...with fiberglass and pink foam insulation {recycled}
Add some clear glass plates as windows/and for interest
Bought at thrift store for pennies
Install old used tin as a ceiling (salvaged free)
Ruff but, in the eye of the beholder, beautiful.
