the boles
a beautiful (to my eyes anyway, neighbor kathryn wouldn't agree) 1950 boles aero 12footer has lived in my front driveway for many years, & has served as a guestroom tho not much lately. it made one roadtrip after i acquired it, to seattle & back, pulled by michael's big red american pickuptruck. but after michael left, there was nothing to pull it with, so it settled in & became a backdrop to my front garden. then a few years ago, a branch fell from the closeby redwood tree & smashed into it, crumpling what you could call a corner, tho the roofline is curved. since then, of course, much moisture made it way inside & many molds were busy colonizing. i don't have the money to do the maintenance, so the traveltrailer gods sent someone who does have the money, has recently fallen in love with boles aeros (he already has 2), saw it here 'cos he lives nearby, AND is a friend of friends! wow.
