It was a fairly easy trail start after a short road section
Some interesting rock formations to the left with colonies of Magpies flying about up there.

The course was marked well, thanks to the marking team i never really had to pull out the course directions!

Deep grass near dusk... ...this is my last photo as I faded quickly after this. My only wish is that I got a photo of Karl Meltzer at aid 45 handing me cup after cup of chicken noodle soup...that I placed back on the trail a mile later.

It's a Bear getting to Hardrock! This was Megan Finnesy's crew and pacer who got her in at 31:37 and was Megan's Hardrock qualifier.
Bill Losey finishes in 32:56... Bill's luggage was lost and he had to buy all new running clothes for the race, including shoes!
