Jenia (holds the flag) started his "Acharai" course in 2005. In summer 2007, after 2 years of training, Jenia decideded to postpone his military service to volunteer for a one year long service at "Acharai". Jenia came to Israel from FSU as a child, and in summer 2008 he is going to be drafted to one of the elite military units. Jenia serves as role model for "Acharai" 2008 allumni - 4 of them have also decided to postpone their military service and volunteer for a year long service at "Acharai".

Every Pesah for the last 3 years, "Acharai" cadets take part in a 3 days outdoor navigation camp in the forests of Yokneam-Megiddo and Carmel. The central ceremony of 2008 camp was dedicated to the three abducted soldiers.
