Engagement
The plan was to do it in oklahoma because her parents live there and she values family and I wanted her family to be there. I told her mom that I wanted to do it in Oklahoma and her sister said "why, don't you do an ornament" So, her mom saved the tree for us to decorate and we started to decorate it and then when it was about 90% decorated, I brought my Christmas Ornament with the ring inside the ornament. Then I got down on my knees and Joanne thought I was joking. She kept screaming "NO WAY!!" "SHUT UP!!!" I was like "uh, you have to stand up" and then I said a few words and asked her to marry me and she said "NO WAY! SHUT UP!" Then, she finally said yes while her mom and dad were clicking away taking pictures.
