"This is in Greece - a place called Goat Island. It is not my photo, but was an Astronomy Picture of the Day last June - if you look closely, you'll see it's a lunar eclipse (that's why the moon is red). It's just a favorite...I'm going to be working in Greece this June on a project documenting a wild pod of bottlenose dolphins...which is part of why I'm trying out G+; I'm hoping I can broadcast from the field station to my students."
