Pin collecting is a big deal for the kids (well, the adults, too). Most teams have a team pin. The toughest to get this year are New Mexico, Maine and Maryland. Last time it was Hawaii

Team pep talk prior to the final game for the Gold with Team Philly, our big rival in this (and past) games. You wont see any game photos of the final unless someone else took them. Too much excitement. Team Philly is a great competitor and played well, with a large, loud boisterous cheering section, rivalling ours. They pulled out to a strong lead, nearly routing us with their taller and more experienced players. Team Alabama didnt give up and fought back to within 4 at the final buzzer, nearly a major upset.
Medal ceremony for the 3-on-3 youth basketball. We went 4-1 and brought home silver, losing only to Team Philly.
Medal totals as of Monday night. Tuesday brought several more totals, with Brooke medaling gold(?) in cycling. Volleyball was played today and some bowling medals are expected this evening. Competitions start at 8a and some run to 10p, especially basketball. Most of our athletes are multiple-sport and go all day with several competitions a day. Our competitors range in age from 4 to the early 70's.
