Giant Rocks
Situated at the SE corner of Kahurangi National park, east of Mt Owen, are the Hope and Lookout Ranges. These contain broad granite plateaus on which there are impressive large rock or tor features. Nature has sculptured some of these into weird and wonderful shapes as can be seen in the accompanying photos taken near Conical Hill, Mt Hope and Lookout Range above Tadmor Saddle.
