2009 Oleanders

Not long ago, the quiet and tranquil enclave known as THE OLEANDERS was under 4 feet of salt water. Countless hours and sweat were spent towards the restoration of this secluded and well-planted in a tropical setting. The Oleanders was built by musicians for musicians. It has been said by others to possess ‘Good karma’ and to celebrate its return, the Oleander Party which was held this weekend. These pictures are free to those who attended the 2009 Oleander Event. If you couldn't make it but wanted to, or if you are friend/family of a lucky person that did make it out, these are for you too... Do you have any pictures from the event that you'd like to share? 2008 Annual Pub Crawl

Wood & Wind

This is a semi-private unlisted site to review work in process so the content here is subject to change. If you are here, Welcome! The Dreamsicles were off doing a party so I've been catching a group calling themselves "Wood 'n Wind", a two piece group with Bobbie Emerson & Steve Revak. Their Rockin' Acoustic Music is good, the venues have been interesting, and their company most enjoyable. From a photography perspective, this has been on honest enjoyable challenge (and good reason for a camera rig upgrade!!!) 2008 At the Oleanders

THE OLEANDERS is a quiet and tranquil enclave. It is quiet and peaceful. It is secluded and well-planted in a tropical setting: Palm trees, banana trees, hibiscus and of course, the ubiquitous Oleanders. The Oleanders was built by musicians for musicians. It has been said by others to possess ‘Good karma’. This serenity was broken by the Oleander Party which was held this weekend. At it, a 130 lb. pig was sacrificed to over 200 people, 2 Boat Sacks of smoked oysters disappeared, and 3 bands played. These pictures are free to those who attended the 2008 Oleander Event. Simulations

We've a pretty nice field that's in the middle of a city surrounded by alot of expensive property. It was necessary to understand what could happen if we left things to chance in order to come up with some flight rules that made sense for us. Later on, this work continued leading to revisions in the NFPA codes.

2008 Rally Day & Yuri's Night

Wow... FIVE EVENTS in SINGLE day including Yuri's Night, Space Day with a rocket demo launch, the David Beverly Memorial Ride, the Outlaw Music Festival, and inaugural Bay Area Bikers Rally all held at Space Center Houston on a pleasant spring day. Thanks to all of the various participants and especially to those that helped make this weekend happen.
