Volunteers placed over 800 flags along the road to the beach at WWMSP. The ground is hard from the drought, so holes must be created so the flags' wooden sticks don't break while they are being set.

The procession included an IDNR Conservation Officer, two ISP Troopers, County Sherrif/Deputies, Liberty Police, Members of the Patriot Guard, our own Range Master (also Army National Guard--retired) and various retired military personnel in vintage vehicles escorting the Moving Wall into WWMSP.

This wreath holds the names of the 60 men from Fayette, Franklin, Union, and Wayne Counties who were killed in Vietnam. It will be dropped into Whitewater Lake on September 6, 2008 during the 1:00 pm ceremony.It was created using silk flowers donated by members of the community.

We have a candlelight vigil each evening at dusk. We light a candle for each of the 60 men we are honoring.
