For spring break in 1993, Guen, Anya and I decided to go backpacking. Our main goal was to find someplace warm, so we headed south to the Ouachita National Forest in Arkansas. Although spring had barely arrived, it was good exercise and great company--plus some fun car adventures on the way back.
The next group of photos is from June 1994, when Guen and Anya spent a week with me in Utah. In addition to two major day hikes in the local mountains and a short backpack in Zion National Park, I recall a Philosophy Club discussion, a visit to the Jennings back yard where Guen climbed the cherry tree, and a well-attended folksinging party at my place. There was also a mix-up with dates of the train tickets home...
The final group of photos is from a trip that Deb and I made to New England in June 2002, when we met up with Guen and Anya at Guen's mom's place in Marlboro, VT.
