New Year's Eve on the A train. We're going to JFK, they're going to a party. I asked to take their picture because they looked festive, and we'd be in line at the airport at midnight. "The party never ends," said the guy with the 2010 glasses.
At midnight, the employees at the airline terminal put on their hats and gave each other hugs. Happy 2010!
Everyone sat quietly waiting for our Mexicana plane on New Year's Eve, but at midnight strangers cheered, shook hands and hugged.
Steve likes creches, and there were plenty in Mexico. One featured a devil with intriguing details painted on.

There was a crocodile lagoon across the street from the house we rented on the beach in La Manzanilla. One resident assured me the crocodiles never bother adults. Only small dogs and babies.

See those tiny white figures on the beach over there? That's Ann & Bill. The beach past town was very deserted with coconut groves and campgrounds and that's about it.

Pollo Asado made with mesquite charcoal. It was so good, we got it over and over. A whole chicken, rice, tortillas and hot sauce, 100 pesos (about $8).
