He died on 28 Oct 1915 -- when the youngest of his 7 daughters was less than 2 months old.

This quilt was pieced by Emma Patience Muston nee Nettles (1882-1964). Following the death of Emma's daughter, Ima Lois Pounders nee Muston, in March of 1999, this quilt went home to live with Ima's granddaughter, Vickie.

Foillowing the death of Emma's daughter, Ima Lois Pounders nee Muston, in March of 1999, this quilt went home to live with Ima's daughter, Dovie Louise Green nee Pounders, who died the following July. It is not known what happened to this quilt after that date.

This is the grave marker of Emma Patience Nettles nee Muston, who died in Rockdale, Milam County, Texas in 1964. This marker is in the Nettles Family Plot in the Hugh Wilson Cemetery in Tanglewood, Lee County, Texas. Emma's daughters, Gladys & Ima (& possibly others?), used to keep fresh silk flowers on their Mother's grave. Emma's husband, Charlie Muston (1882-1915), is said to be buried in an unmarked grave outside a church cemetery near Nada in Colorado County, Texas.
