In Search of Monkeys
For my first tourist trip in Japan I decided to head to Kinkasan, a small island relatively close by off the tip of the Oshika Penninsula that is the third holiest place in northern Japan. It has a major shrine on it, lots of trails to hike around and, most importantly, lots of deer and monkeys. Unfortunately, my camera died on me so there will be more pictures coming once I get my one time use camera developed.
