"Thank you, Carol. Well this was one of the journals I used to learn how to play with paints. So just experimented with a ton of different backgrounds, kept layering things up. Then I printed out the photos from Laura's pages and tried to make them blend in. That's the hardest thing for me, trying to get the pictures to push back. I'm impatient and most of them needed more layers. It's all a combination of paint, collage, watercolor crayons and india ink."

"Susan ~ this is fantastic. How did you do it?"

"This one (and the other two I'm doing) won't have any fish. I have a wine barrel pot pond on the front patio but it just has mosquito fish in it. :) I would love a pond in the yard. Maybe someday. These pondless features are pretty easy. Well, except for poor hubby who has to dig the hole. I do all rock work. :)"

"We just had goldfish and its more my wifes than mine, it seems like its just a pain for me. I've gone through way too many pumps for that pond."
