Betty and I lived in this cabin the first 6 months we were married. It was above the resteraunt in Sapinero at Blue Mesa Lake. I worked at the Park Service as a tour boat operator, Betty helped out at the resteraunt down the hill. we loved our 20'x20' foot slice of paradise. We had to walk down the hill a ways to the bathhouse for showers and facilites. But those moon light showers with a full moon and the lake sparkling in the night, the stars, the peace and quiet...we always loved and laughed and learned neither of us needed much to be happy together. I wanted to remodel a bedroom to look like the inside of this cabin just to remind us of those days. It wasn't much but we loved it there.
