"Nice hard contrast brings out the texture. Too bad you weren't able to separate the two trunks so that the one branch wasn't "touching" the other trunk. The overall image leans to the dark side, even with snow on the ground. It gives me an urge to perhaps dodge the trunks a little to make them draw the eye a little more by lightening them up."
