John Muir's Gravesite: ALC acquired the cemetery in 1996 and helped bring the site under the protection of the National Park Service in 1999. It is the smallest project ALC has to date, 1.27 acres.
Stucky Ridge, MT - ALC helped protect 298 acres of bighorn sheep and elk habitat here.
Klamath Basin, Wood River in OR - ALC worked with landowners in the Klamath River basin to acquire 3,200 acres of former marshlands at the northern shore of Agency Lake. It is a prime spot for waterfowl hunting.
(c) ALC Staff, San Bernadino National Forest, CA - ALC acquired former ranchlands within the forest for hikers, campers and outdoor enthusiasts in 2003.
(c) MT Conservation Trust, Crow Creek Falls, MT - ALC purchased 20 acres around the falls and cleared the debris and mining equipment. ALC transferred ownership to the US Forest Service for public recreation in 2003.
