Supplies: 8.5" x 11" cardstock, trimmer with scoring blade, bone folder, stamps and inks, hole punch and ribbon
Score sheet of cardstock along the short edge at 2 1/2" and 6"
Turn sheet of cardstock and score the long edge at 4 3/4" and 6 1/4"
Bring the horizontal fold of one of the four center folds to meet the vertical fold next to it to create a diagonal crease.
Use a bone folder to crease the diagonal fold and make it easier to fold the sheet into a box. (I use a Pampered Chef scraper because I have a ton of those.)
Repeat the last two steps on the three remaining corners.
Stamp the cardstock in the areas that will be seen after the box is folded (front, back and short middle sides.)
Color in the curls and swirls as desired with watercolor pencils.
Use a blender pen to soften the watercolor pencil lines.
Assemble the box by bringing the diagonal folds towards the box center.
Punch two holes on the front and back of the box, close to the top.
Thread about 8 in. ribbon through all the holes and tie a loose knot.
