Also called a Maze book; finished dimensions 3"x3"x1/4"
Supplies: 12x12 cardstock, 1.5"x3" cardstock for binding, Scor Pal, craft knife, adhesive, inks, stamps, ribbons and tags to decorate
Step 1: Score 12x12 at the 3, 6, and 9 mark along one side; turn paper 90 degrees and score at 3, 6 and 9 on other side (making a grid with 16 squares)
Step 2: Cut along the solid lines according to the diagram.
Step 3, Folding the book: begin at the lower left corner, folding up and following an accordion pattern.
Step 3, Continued: after accordion folding to the top left corner, fold the paper under to "turn the corner to the next column. Continue folding in an accordion pattern.
Step 3, Continued: at the bottom middle, repeat the process of tucking the pile under to "turn the corner" to the next column.
Step 3, Continued: repeat at top right corner
Step 3, when completed will leave you with a 3x3 stack of paper
Step 4: position paper so that the top flap opens like a traditional book. This will be your first page.
Step 5: Apply adhesive to the inside (binding) edge of what will be the inside of your second page. If you would like this page to be a "pocket", also apply adhesive to the bottom edge. If you would like a sturdier book with no pockets, apply adhesive all over the inside of the page.
Step 6: Go page by page, always applying adhesive to the "binding side" of the book, determining for each page if it will be a pocket and applying adhesive. (Some pages can be side opening pockets, if desired)
Step 7: Make two score lines about 1/4" apart near the middle of the short side of the 1.5 x 3" piece. There is a great place on the Score Pal near the 7.25 mark.
Step 8: Adhere the binding piece to book
Complete the book by decorating with stamps, ribbons and tags
