Cut two pieces of patterned cardstock to 4.5" x 12". Cut four pieces of solid cardstock to 4.25" x 11".
Glue the two pieces of patterned cardstock together back to back. Score at 5 7/8 and 6 1/8. (This makes a cover with a 1/4" binding area.) Score the solid pieces (inside pages) at 5.5".
Set the depth gauge on your Crop A Dile and punch a hole in the binding area 1/2" from the edge on each side.
If desired, ink your bamboo skewer to match project and cut to 4.25".
Use a wire twist tie to thread the hair band through all the pages and cover and attach to one end of skewer.
Thread through the other hole.

Decorate the cover and inside pages
Add a dot of tacky glue where the hair band attaches to skewer to prevent sliding.
