San Blas is about 90 miles north of Puerto Vallarta - a $5 2-1/2 hour bus ride.
Lush and green - hot and humid during the rainy season -- but very pleasant and comfortable during the winter months.

The Hotel Playa Hermosa was a 5 Star Hotel when I first visited. Bad business decisions, the jungle and Hurricain Kenna have almost demolished this place...
