Summer Solstice Party

Please join us for our Summer Solstice Party, celebrating the sun and local arts. Saturday, June 19th, in Borough Hall Mansion, 301 N. Jackson St., Media. This fun evening event will feature live music, a silent auction including original artwork from local artists, a buffet dinner, and wine and beer. All proceeds will support more arts events and activities in Media! Tickets are $30 in advance, $35 at the door. Tickets may be purchased at: Birthmark - 107 S. Monroe St. Earth & State - 23 W. On the 2nd Saturday of every month, over 40 businesses on and around State Street in Media stay open late as part of a free arts event. From 6:00 to 9:00 pm, shops, galleries and cafes host local musicians or display the work of local artists. Visitors can stroll the friendly streets of Media and use M.A.C.'s map to find music, art and participating shops. http://mediaartscouncil.org

This Space 4 Rent Art Exhibit Opening

This Space 4 Rent is a group art show and sale featuring several MAC registry artists in the former Bill Battey Sporting Goods location on Front & Jackson Streets in Media, PA. This Space 4 Rent is a unique, collaborative exhibit that provides artists with a venue to exhibit and sell their work, while offering the real estate company the opportunity to showcase a vacant property in a positive light. This temporary gallery space at 1 W. Front Street is donated by Front Street Capital. The opening party took place from 6-9pm on 2nd Saturday, May 9th. The exhibit will remain open through May 15 (open daily from 11am-2pm), and will include a special event by nationally recognized Feng Shui practitioner HG Chissell on May 13 from 7-9pm. The closing party will be on Friday, May 15th from 6-9pm.
