"Laura … YESSSS!!! I found it right away on KFOG's site. It started with the under-the-bridge waterfall and stayed wondrous throughout and they played Etta's At Last and it made me very happy! Thank you! And then I saw you'd posted a link to this. I'm gonna share it. How good is it? Made me want to dance. That doesn't happen too often at all these days. Boom—Boom—Boom—Boom … Bang—Bang—Bang—Bang!"

"Yes, it was timed to music, local radio station, KFOG. Hummm, I need to check their website and see if they've got a good video of the show up. I was actually on the opposite side of the "front of the show". The celebrations were all going on, across the Bay in SF. I'm taking these photos from the North end of the Bridge, in Marin County, Fort Baker, so the show was actually "aimed" in the opposite direction, but it was TOO DAMN crazy over there, getting to it especially, for me."

"No atypical about our fog Tom, well kinda but....it all depends on the weather. Earlier, the fog had started to roll in, when I get my other, non-firework, photos of the day up, you'll see, and I was worried. But it cleared up and got warmer! Lucky us!!!! Many times, the fog does block, or diminish the 4th of July fireworks show."

"I did take a few short videos, can't remember if I did of this though, as I was pretty much in awe and so blown away by this. This is how the firework show opened and the crowd went crazy. Also, I've got to figure how to upload my videos, as picasa doesn't work for my videos :-("

"It a waterfall of fireworks, coming off the Golden Gate Bridge :-)"

"Looks like you moved in on the action. Curious if they played music and timed the fireworks to it. I'd guess that there's no way to make it loud enough, but had to ask."

"Tiny observation — the horizontal rows of different colors on the right seem to transform into columns of different colors in the water. That's totally counterintuitive."

"Thank you!"

"All true from both of you.

And BLURRY SCHMURRY! I'll take more like this, please."

"40 years ago that could be the Hudson on fire."
Tom Lavoie
"That's one heavy duty ball of fireworks!"

"Was it atypical to have a clear night like this? Is the fog in the morning generally?"
Tom Lavoie
"And so can color."
Tom Lavoie
"Not, I guess. White can be so colorful!"
Tom Lavoie
"Aha! Under the bridge fireworks going down, not up. Way cool! Maybe the one time that a video would have told the story better."
