Brisey 01 Jan. The River Thames at Runnymede Pleasure Grounds. This is one of our favourite picnic spots, however with the temperature only just above freezing today, we will have to wait for warmer weather.
Brisey 02 Jan. This is our "Happy Hippy Campervan" money box. We save our £2 coins in it and cash them up to help fund our trips abroad. Having just seen that the £-€ exchange rate is now £1 = €0.98, we are resigned to the fact that we will be spending very little, or indeed no time at all on the other side of the Channel in 2009.

Brisey 19 Jan. "Walk like an Egyptian" An Egyptian Goose, these birds usually head for the Broads in Norfolk, where there is a large ferral colony. This one and his mate, were on the River Thames near to Staines.
