Joe Fortes taxi is usually parked outside the restaurant. It's so cute, much nicer than the yellow cabbies around the street nowadays.
Interior shot - that big glass "window" is the entrance. The restaurant is divided into 2 levels.
A shot of the bar area.
This is the back of the bar area (see previous picture).
Maryland crab cake. The sauce is just right and the crab cake is very yummy. One of the best I've had.
Swordfish steak. I didn't get a chance to try it because I was busy tackling the seafood tower.
Joes Fortes Classic Cioppino - prawns, scallops, alaskan king crab, clams, mussels, fresh fish, calamari (this is taken straight from their menu)...in a tomato based soup that's slightly spicy. All this seafood for only $32, it's the best dish for those (like me) who can't decide on what to order.
Yam fries. They have ketchup and some mayo (with spices added). The mayo goes super well with the fries. Highly recommended.
Seafood tower. We ordered 3 tiers but they didn't want it to be in the middle and block our views (of each other) so they put each tier separately on the table after I took this photo. The top tier is with the server who's helping us plate some (so he can take one platter away).
There are a lot of seafood in the tower. The server wasn't kidding when he told us that we probably won't finish it.
Of all the items in the tower my favourites are the shrimps, clams and scallops.
Another shot of the bar area as we were leaving. It looks very nice with all the lights and the unique shape of the bar.
