01/11/07: At the airport in Sydney with my boarding pass for my Air New Zealand flight *^^*
A clearer version~
Taken at the airport! :D
02/11/07: Went to lunch at this really cute café restaurant (unfortunately, I don't know its name) and took lots of pictures of the scenery!
Some fish soup bowl dish that we ordered~
Chicken salad~
Vegetable lasagna~
An interesting bird! Actually, all the birds were interesting looking, but this one especially caught my eye~
It looks like a Pūkeko (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Purple_Swamphen) but I'm not sure~
Look at the birds attacking the leftovers!
More birds eating leftovers
My coffee ^^
A shot of one of the inside rooms~
A shot of the front (it looks smaller than it actually is)
Isn't it quaint? It's apparently a historical building..
03/11/07: Fireworks in celebration of Guy Fawkes Day
06/11/07: The sunset sky was really nice, so I went out to take pictures. But with every battery I put in being dead already, it took a while so the really pretty part passed. That, and I'm not a great photographer. So this picture most definitely does not show the beauty that I saw.
07/11/07: Most happy discovery made at the Countdown at Westfield WestCity!!! *^^*
A cute Coke advertisement in the mall. Why doesn't Coke do stuff like this for us?!
Amusing store sign outside on the street (I walked outside for a little bit to kill time). And no, it's not an actual S&M store.. it's a clothing store.
My McD's #2 meal. That drink and those fries are NOT medium sized.. they are SO small by American standards!
Another shot of my meal.
Advertisement of the mall on the table.
08/11/07: Vodafone sent me a gift for buying a phone! Three gifts in fact ^^
A closer look at the wrapping, and what was inside. Magnets!
And this ad. I thought it was amusing.
09/11/07: A sign on Parnell Road
My meal at The Strawberry Alarm Clock! Ham, tomato, and brie panini ^^
It was very yummy. But pricey. $10?! The prices here make me want to cry..
Pretty building I saw on my walk from Parnell to Downtown
Look what I found!
More University of Auckland..
They were having some demonstration..
Thought this was the nicest Burger King I've ever seen.. so I took a picture!
Found the ferry!
The first HSBC I have seen in NZ. Next to the Westfield Downtown.
Westfield Downtown already has Christmas decorations up!
I got a double cone from Wendy's Supa Sundaes. One scoop Vanilla Dream, one scoop Hokey Pokey. My reward for walking everywhere. YUMMY!
Another shot. I'm not too good at these TT_TT

Aotea Square Market! Every Friday and Saturday. I will have to check it out before I leave..
City Hall.. I think.
On the wall of City Hall building..
There was a Borders! And I found the manga section! I was so happy to finally see some manga (none of the other bookstores carry manga)
I found another HSBC!
The bungy place again. Apparently you sit in the seats and you get swung upppppp and down. It was a girl and a guy. I was okay with the girl's screams, but the guy's just cracked me up. He screamed like he was in real pain. Hilarious.
They have Quickly here too! Amazing!
SKY TOWER!
Entrance to Sky City
Downstairs. I don't know how much the Sky Jump is (it's 192m! I want to do it!), but going up to the Sky Tower is $25.
Fountain in Sky City lobby
11/11/07: Cadbury section at the local Pak'nSAVE! Beautiful~
14/11/07: Auckland War Memorial Museum!
Shot of the Cenotaph and the museum
Tread not upon it except in reverence. Remember this is holy ground.
Just like I thought, the Cenotaph is a direct replica of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Whitehall, London (I had taken a picture of that when I was there). The designer tried to get the rights to the original blueprints, but they were too expensive, so he went to the cinemas every night for a week to sketch it from the newsreels.

The Spitfire
Poppy Day made me think of California (state flower: golden poppy) and Wizard of Oz (field of poppies made them sleepy). How sad that a serious day makes me think of such trivial things TT_TT

Posing with the huge ornament by Westfield Downtown (taken on Jeffrey's mum's camera)
You can't tell, but there are lights in the back that flash on and off.
Found a great tourist gift shop: OK Gift Shop! But it caters only to Japanese tourists, so EVERYTHING is in Japanese. The good part is, there are such cute displays like this one! Yay Hello Kitty! ^^
The gift shop also had Happy Hens! I found them in another gift shop as well, but the collection here is much bigger.
If only they were cheaper, I would buy them for my mum.
My LARGE McD's meal. Finally the right size!
Posing with Jeffrey's mum by Santa's Mailbox (taken on her camera)
Look! It's Santa's mail box! Check out www.christmasinthecity.co.nz for more info~
Even though I'm no longer a child, I'm still tempted to do this. Keke.
Stopped by DFS Galleria. Saw this cute bear rug thing and Jeffrey's mum took a picture of me with it ^^#
Jeffrey's mum wanted a picture of us by the SMITH + CAUGHEY'S display. Don't we fit in perfectly with the angels? ^^ (taken on her camera)
A man offered to take a picture of us. We totally covered the Elfy School display though TT_TT (taken on Jeffrey's mum's camera)
Jeffrey's mum wanted me to take a picture in front of it, but I ran off and came up behind it. I know, I'm a genius ^^ (taken on her camera)
